Terms of Sale

For The Idea You’ve Had Since…, Build ALONG the Way.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

These Terms of Sale apply to purchases of The Idea You’ve Had Since…, including access to the interactive digital workbook and any companion digital resources included with the purchase.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

1. About Build ALONG the Way

Seller/trading name: Build ALONG the Way
Business structure: Sole trader
Business address: 4th Floor, 18 St. Cross Street, London, EC1N 8UN
Email: hello@buildalongtheway.com
Contact: hello@buildalongtheway.com

2. What you are buying

The Idea You’ve Had Since… is a self-guided interactive digital workbook designed to help you explore an idea, examine issues that may be holding you back and work through practical reflection, planning and implementation exercises.

The product is supplied in English.

The purchase price is £35 as a one-off payment.

It is not a subscription and there is no recurring product fee.

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the interactive workbook and the companion digital materials described on the sales page at the time of purchase.

Your licence is for your own personal use and may be active on up to two of your own devices at a time.

No promise of lifetime or perpetual access is made.

3. Ordering and payment

The total amount payable will be shown before you place your order.

There are no physical delivery charges because this is a digital product.

Payment is processed through third-party ecommerce, checkout and payment providers. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout.

Build ALONG the Way does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card details.

A contract is formed when your order is successfully accepted and confirmed.

4. Digital delivery and secure access

After a successful purchase, secure workbook access is associated with the email address used for your order.

Access is passwordless.

You will receive a secure access link by email and may request a fresh access link through the secure access page where required.

Digital supply may begin immediately following successful purchase.

You are responsible for protecting your email account and secure access links and for ensuring that another person does not use your personal licence.

5. Immediate digital supply and your right to cancel

This product is digital content supplied electronically and not on a tangible medium.

UK consumers normally have a statutory cancellation period for distance contracts.

Before digital supply begins, you will be asked at checkout to:

If you provide that express consent and acknowledgement and digital supply begins, your statutory 14-day cancellation right ends.

We therefore do not provide change-of-mind refunds after digital supply has begun where the statutory cancellation right has been validly lost.

If digital supply has not begun, or the legally required consent and acknowledgement were not obtained, any cancellation rights available to you under applicable law continue to apply.

This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to digital content that does not conform to the contract or applicable consumer law.

For example, you may have legal remedies where digital content is faulty, not as described or not fit for a purpose made known to us. Any remedy will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer law.

6. Cancelling where your cancellation right still exists

If your statutory cancellation right still exists because digital supply has not begun or because the legally required consent and acknowledgement were not obtained, you may tell us clearly that you wish to cancel.

Please send your cancellation request by email to:

hello@buildalongtheway.com

Please include the email address used for your purchase and enough information for us to identify your order.

You do not have to use any particular wording provided that your decision to cancel is clear.

You may use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms.

7. Problems with the product

If you believe there is a technical fault with the workbook or that what you received is materially different from what was advertised, please email hello@buildalongtheway.com.

We will investigate genuine technical or delivery problems and provide any remedy required under applicable consumer law.

8. Personal-use licence and device limit

Your purchase is for your personal use.

You may have up to two active devices connected to your licence at a time.

You may remove an old device through the device-management facility and activate a replacement.

You may print or save personal copies where the workbook provides that function.

You must not resell or redistribute the workbook or companion materials; commercially reproduce or publish them; share your secure access link, licence or purchased access with another person; make the paid workbook publicly available; or use the workbook as training material for clients, employees, groups or other third parties without written permission from Build ALONG the Way.

9. Duration and ending access

Your personal licence begins when your purchase is successfully confirmed.

Access continues subject to these Terms and while the hosted product remains available.

No lifetime or perpetual-access promise is made.

We may suspend or revoke access where a payment is refunded or reversed, where a licence is being shared or materially misused, where use is unlawful, or where action is reasonably necessary to protect the security or integrity of the service.

Technology and hosted digital products change over time. We may update, replace or discontinue the hosted access service in the future for legitimate operational, technical, security or legal reasons.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide advance notice of a material discontinuation affecting customers.

Nothing in this section removes any statutory consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Your workbook answers and progress

The workbook has deliberately been designed so that your personal responses remain private.

Your answers, reflections, notes, plans and locally calculated progress are stored in your browser on the device you are using, where browser storage is available.

Build ALONG the Way does not receive, read or store those workbook responses in a server-side workbook database.

There is no automatic cloud synchronisation of workbook answers between devices or browsers.

If you use the workbook on another device or browser, your previous answers will not automatically appear there.

You can download a private backup of your work. We recommend doing this regularly.

If browser data or a downloaded backup is lost or deleted, Build ALONG the Way cannot recover your workbook answers because we do not hold them.

If you use a shared computer or browser profile, another person using that same browser profile may be able to see locally stored information.

11. Emails connected with your purchase

When you purchase the workbook, we may send you service communications necessary or reasonably connected with providing, securing and supporting what you purchased.

These may include secure access links, licence and device information, security messages, responses to support requests and important information affecting your access or use of the product.

These are service communications, not marketing emails.

Separately, you may choose to receive occasional marketing emails from Build ALONG the Way about related resources, new products, updates and offers.

Marketing is optional.

You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the unsubscribe facility provided in marketing emails.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel your workbook purchase and does not prevent us from sending essential service communications relating to your purchase.

12. AI exercises

Some workbook exercises include optional Ask AI prompt-building tools.

These tools create the prompt locally within the workbook.

Build ALONG the Way does not automatically send your prompt or your workbook answers to ChatGPT or another external AI provider.

If you choose to copy or submit information to an external AI service, you are choosing to provide that information to that service.

The external provider's own terms and privacy practices will apply.

13. Technical requirements and compatibility

The workbook is delivered through a web browser.

For full functionality you need a reasonably current web browser, JavaScript enabled, browser storage available and an internet connection for accessing the hosted workbook.

Functionality may vary between devices, browsers and browser settings.

Private or incognito browsing, blocked browser storage, security settings, deletion of browser data or changing browser profiles may prevent answers from being retained.

Companion materials may include PDF or other commonly used digital formats.

14. Updates and availability

We may maintain, correct, secure and improve the workbook over time.

We do not guarantee that every browser version, device or third-party service will remain compatible indefinitely.

Material changes affecting your contractual or statutory rights will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

15. Intellectual property

The workbook, written content, exercises, design, graphics, companion materials and other original product content are owned by or licensed to Build ALONG the Way and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

Buying the workbook gives you permission to use it personally.

It does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property to you.

16. Educational nature and outcomes

The workbook is educational and self-coaching material.

It is intended to help you reflect, investigate possibilities, organise your thinking and make your own decisions.

We do not guarantee that using the workbook will result in you starting a business, leaving employment, earning a particular amount of money or achieving any particular commercial, financial, career or personal outcome.

Please read the separate Disclaimer.

17. Refunds and access

Where a refund is properly issued or a payment is reversed, access associated with that purchase may be revoked.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory right or remedy that cannot legally be limited.

18. Complaints

If you have a concern about your purchase or access, please email:

hello@buildalongtheway.com

We will aim to deal with your concern fairly and within a reasonable time.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere and we accept your order, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
